UO and Converse partnered to spotlight artists and their communities, giving back to the arts and organizations of creators’ choices. Content was published on the UO Community Page and with NYLON to expand the reach of our narrative, and more than $10K was donated to charitable orgs.

In celebration of Latinx Heritage Month, we partnered with El Paso-based Marianna Olague to create a mural at UO Austin’s Space 24 Twenty. A donation of $5,000 was made to Sunrise El Paso in Olague’s name, to support climate justice initiatives at the border. Olague has since been selected as a finalist for the National Portrait Gallery’s 2022 Outwin Boochever Portrait Competition, and her work will be on view at the Smithsonian beginning April, 2022.

Musician Niko Rubio modeled for assets to be used across urbanoutfitters.com and in Converse marketing, and featured in our story with NYLON.
